Do you think it is at all possible, or even common for people to be over-medicated when it comes to mental health issues?

It doesn't make any sense that FIVE year olds are taking RITALIN. What kind of doctor wants to cloud a developing mind with medication that strong??? I think that most of the time, it's for $$$
