brother or sister frats?

who is you sister sorority, or brother fraternity????

Sigma Alpha--ALpha Gamma Rho

Zeta Tau Alpha has no brother fraternity nor do we allow men's affiliate organizations or 'little brothers'.

Are you and AGP constitutionally bonded, like Phi Beta Sigma and Zeta Phi Beta, or just traditionally considered to be brother/sister groups?

BFulton 02-23-2001 04:07 PM

Sigma Alpha and Alpha Gamma Rho are not officially bonded or brother/sister organizations.

We do have a very positive working relationship, and many of our SA chapters grew from what had once been AGR "little sister" chapters. The groups have similar goals and requirements.

Therefore, I'd characterize the relationship as an "informal family" arrangement. http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/smile.gif

Phi Sigma Delta and Phi Sigma Rho
UW-Milwaukee

the rho's were our little-sister program up until a year ago, they broke off and formed their organization, yet we are very similar in ideals, and we do many things together, and since they don't have a house yet, they are always at ours.

My local sorority, Alpha Sigma, is coupled with a local fraternity, Phi Chi Epsilon, both which are at University of Wisconsin - Whitewater.

Nationally Chi Omega's brother fraternity is Kappa Simga.
Locally my chapter claims the Pi Kappa Alphas only because there is no Kappa Sigma chapter to affiliate with.

What do you get when you cross and Alpha Omicron Pi and a Sigma Phi Epsilon? A beautiful Chi Omega!!!

As the history goes, Gamma Sigma Sigma is the sister sorority to Alpha Phi Omega. In 1952, two young women, who were girlfriends of APO Brothers, wanted a Service organization of their own, and Gamma Sigma Sigma was born.

Do you spend time with any of the PSK'S or LXA's at uw-ww?

Historically, Gamma Sig is the sister sorority to APO. We share similiar ideals of Service and Friendship.

I see my brother Gerald has been reading up on GSS! Good job! *just kidding* Sisterly luv to you!

We dont allow that with Beta either.

As an undergrad at George Mason, most of it depended on who my brothers were dating, who we did homecoming with if we choosed to do it, and sometimes a good social. When I pledged we hung out with XO a lot, then after I was initiated we hung out more with AOII, and before I graduated Alpha Phi. We usually hung out with these three but it was mostly AOII. XO tended to hang out with Sig Ep and Pike. AOII hung out with us, Kappa Sig, Pike. Alpha Phi tended to hang out with AXP and EX.

kappa alpha theta is formally linked to phi gamma delta (fiji) on the national level, but we don't do much with the fiji's on my campus.

LyonAZD 03-20-2001 05:56 PM

alpha xi delta is constitionally not linked to Sigma Nu, but they are considered our brother fraternity as the were instrumental in our founding.

Delta Gamma's brother fraternity is Phi Delta Theta. We dont have Phi Delts at our school(unf) but one near us has them.
