Medical Sorority
 

Does anyone know of a medical sorority? I have been unable to find one and personally think that there should be a national if not international sorority to establish a support system for women entering the medical field.

Nice thought, but depending on where you go to school, the pre-med population may be very small and very cut-throat. Hanging out and helping each other may not be top priority. Where I went to school, if you excluded male candidates, there would have been 4 women involved, and three of us were in rival sororities. (The other two were KD big sis/lil sis!)

I'm a pre-med woman who was just accepted to medical school. I'm a member of Alpha Omega Epsilon sorority, for women in technical sciences and engineering. My chapter has a lot of pre-medical students, so it was very helpful when preparing for medical school applications.

Everything doesn't have to be a sorority ya know
