Ladies, sit down...get ready for this. The G Spot is a MYTH.

The holy grail of female sexual pleasure — the G-spot — does not exist, according to a new study.

British researchers at Kings College London found no evidence to support long-standing claims there is a collection of internal nerve endings that trigger the ultimate in sexual ecstasy.

"Women may argue that having a G-spot is due to diet or exercise, but in fact it is virtually impossible to find real traits," study co-author Tim Spector said.

"This is by far the biggest study ever carried out and it shows fairly conclusively that the idea of a G-spot is subjective."

The findings came after researchers surveyed more than 1800 woman, all identical and non-identical twins.

Each woman was asked whether they thought they had a G-spot before their answer was cross-checked against their twin.

yoooooooo even the GC ad ^^ is speechless.

i don't need to sit down tho. i thought that i didn't have one, or that he wasn't doing the right thing. :o then i read that your g-spot can be in different places and i stopped caring as long as it was good :p

ETA: its not blank anymore, its talking about wedding photos. GC ads do nawt approve of fornication. no ring, no ding!

"The G-spot is subjective" is not the same as it being a myth. That's like saying men's prostate stimulation is a myth just because many men and their partners can't find the spot or relax their minds enough to enjoy the ass. LOL

It has been stated for decades that the exact location of the G-spot tends to be in a certain area but it can vary--and so forth.

Most women only orgasm through clitoral stimulation but those who are blessed to have a findable G-spot (usually in the frontal region of the vaginal canal) can have a party if they are with a partner or an object that can also locate it.

ETA: And it doesn't HAVE to be called the G-spot. LOL. If sex feels good physically (versus emotional stimulation) to you and you have had a physical orgasm (versus a mental one) it is most likely because you/he/they/it have found your pleasure point, which is basically what a G-spot is. That's why the length of the man (or object) matters less than its girth. It's similar to men who like to ram their penis into something just to know they can reach the end zone, but they really only feel the ultimate pleasure through the head of the penis.

I've never been intrested in having a g-spot orgasm. That may kill me. :o

Regular orgasms causes me to stomp, curse, and even curl up into fetal position sometimes.

Somebody doesn't party a lot.

Hehe.

DrPhil 01-05-2010 11:42 AM

Don't be tardy for the party.

(It had to be said.)

This made me laugh with an indecent amount of volume (especially since the ad is still blank on my screen).

ETA: Srsly, 1800 women? Did they do in vivo experiments to check if they really had one? I bet that study would have been fun as hell.

hahaha

Another one---it ain't the size of the boat, it's the motion of the ocean!!!!

nikki1920 01-05-2010 03:18 PM

It's really the size of the boat. ;)

DrPhil 01-05-2010 03:22 PM

It also depends on what people realistically consider big and the likelihood that they'll see that sized boat outside of penis pumped pornos (say that 3 times).

tld221 01-05-2010 03:35 PM

does the word "girth" ever get used in other contexts?
