Deepher Dude Help
 

Hi all! I have looked through the threads before to get more information about deepeher dude but the only thing is found was terribly outdated. My chapter has never done deepher dude before but we'd like to learn more about it so we can possibly do it next semester! I am completely clueless about it so any responses will help. I figure the planning should start now.

The Alpha Psi chapter just had their first one last year and it was awesome! Also, we had our first Miss LTU pageant last year which helped the Deephers a lot as well with their planning and what not. We don't do Deepher Dude... We have Deepher Duke. I actually named my dog Duke since he's a boy. We vote on our Deepher Dukes once a year and award them at Pearl Ball. Deepher Dukes are guys who help us out at events, carry our letters, and generally are there to support us. There are different schools of thought on Deepher Dukes. Too often guys who just happen to be dating sisters get made Duke and then they don't do anything to help or they break up and still don't do anything anymore. I prefer to nominate guys who are helping out that don't have a gf in the sorority. I think they deserve it more because they're not doing it out of obligation to their gfs.

On a side note, I'm in the Gamma Delta Chapter in Texas. If you could please help me, I would really love to get in contact with your VPMD.
