GLO's at Shippensburg
Does anyone out there know what GLO's are at Shippensburg? I have a friend attending there and she wanted to see what there groups were like.

Ship has Phi Sigma Sigma!! WOO
<3Ali |
Ship has five nationals:
AOPi AST Alpha Phi DZ Phi Sigma Sigma and two locals: Alpha Sigma and Sigma Delta. If their greek system resembles the rest of the PA State School systems, it's probably messed up . 33, you can attest to this, and I know at Bloom it's screwey, along with IUP. |
terminology
Not to nit pick, but your post should say that there are 5 NPC "national" groups on campus. ALL NPHC groups are "national", in fact, most are "international".

Shadokat, you said "If their greek system resembles the rest of the PA State School systems, it's probably messed up." Just curious what you meant by this...I also went to a PA State school, and was wondering how they all compared.
|
ees125, I was not including Penn State in that group of PA State Schools. When I say the PA State Schools, I mean those that are part of the State System of Higher Education in PA, including:
Edinboro Clarion Slippery Rock California U of PA IUP Mansfield Lock Haven Bloomsburg Shippensburg Millersville East Stroudsburg Kutztown Cheyney West Chester I can't attest to Greek Life at Penn State, because it's a totally different world than that of the SSHE schools. You all have nearly every NPC and NIC group...we have maybe 6 or 7 at each school. Big size differences in schools as well. So don't worry, I think PSU is doing just fine :) |
shadokat, Penn State may be bigger, but depending on what you mean by messed up, I think we might fit in quite well with the other PA state schools...when I think of messed up, I think of people being TOO cliquey, back stabbing, not very sisterly towards other sororites, etc...

Funny ees, but that's a lot of the crap that goes on, on top of the fact that stupidity of Greek Advisors never ceases to amaze me. I had one chapter that is in my province, and I called the Greek Advisor to get the recruitment dates and such. We started talking, and this woman says "well, I just began to read the green book, as it is really long and tedious. but I guess I'll need it for recruitment to understand." HELLO!?!?!
anyways, if you want to be lumped with us ees, join the fun :) I was at Penn State during school for mixers with KDR and someone else, and we had a blast :) |
