Sad Day in Central Ohio
 

Stefanie Spielman an Ohio State alum and Delta Gamma passed away last night after a long battle with cancer.
If you are not familiar with her, please take a moment to read her story on the Delta Gamma website. She is a true hero and inspiration.

I saw this on the front of the Dispatch online this morning. So sad. My heart goes out to her husband and kids.

REMEMBERING STEFANIE: OSU Students Say She Was an Inspiration
Columbus, Ohio -- In talking to students at the Ohio State University campus about the impact Stefanie Spielman had on their lives, all of them say she was an inspiration.

She attended OSU in the 80's, was a member of the Delta Gamma sorority and was also a part of the greater Ohio State community.

The Delta Gamma Sorority held a candlelight vigil on the Oval in Stefanie's honor

Members of the sorority say they always participated in the 5K walk that was a part of OSU's homecoming every year to raise money for cancer research.

I know that she fought for many years and was a champion for the fight against cancer.

I just got done watching the memorial service- and I lost it when her niece Emily sang "For Good".
