U of Northern Colorado De-Recognizes Delta Chi
The Delta Chi chapter is appealing the de-recognition, as an article reports:
http://www.noco5.com/story.aspx?ID=812&Cat=2 Excerpt: Greeley - 11/19/2009 Alex Hannum Reports: A University of Northern Colorado fraternity is fighting to remain open. The Delta Chi Fraternity has appealed a loss of recognition ruling issued last week by the deans office. University officials won't say exactly why the ruling was issued, but a spokesperson says the violations concerned hazing and alcohol. Baring (sic) a successful appeal the fraternity will be barred from university sanctioned events until 2013. . . . See also: http://www.greeleytribune.com/articl...ntprofile=1001 |
If Brother Luedtke (from the Greeley Tribute Article) was really "A" for two years he should know better than to speak with the media.
Does anyone know what happened to Sigma Pi? Are they continuing on without university recognition? |

The Associated Press is reporting that Delta Chi has lost the appeal. The university's decision to de-recognize them still stands:
