Gifts for a big going alum
 

This is my first official post as an AOII :)

Anywho...my big is going alum this weekend and I really wanted to put together a little basket for her. Just a little something to say congrats and whatnot. I have a couple ideas but they seem so boring. I was thinking of a little picture frame engraved with our names on it. Also, when we get our bigs we get a little award so I was thinking of making an award for her. It's hard to explain but I know that she would really like that.

But I would really love some other ideas. Did anyone do this for their big?

What about a business card holder with AOII engraved on it? You can pick one up at Things Remembered. (I'm assuming she's graduating.)

I do love the picture frame idea, especially if it's nice enough to place on a desk and not scream "College Sorority!!!!" Note cards are always useful, especially if she's graduating soon.

How about a necklace with a rose on it or if you have more $$, a ruby? something that reminds her of AOII and can replace the lavalier she probably wore.

Knowing your big, Im pretty sure she will absolutely love anything you give her :) FWIW, I like the rose pendant idea, you can get it from the AOII Emporium :)
