Wardrobe Question for UGA Phi Mu Tailgate
 

Hi! I'm a mom of a newly initiated Phi Mu at UGA - woo hoo! - and I'm going to a Phi Mu Family Tailgate before the UGA vs. Tennessee Tech football game this Saturday. Since my daughter is a freshman, I've never been to her sorority house for an event like this. So, my question is, what do moms at UGA wear for game days? I want to look cute, but since we will be walking to and from the Phi Mu house to the football game, heels will be out. I don't want to overdress, but I don't want to look too casual, either! My daughter always wears a cute red or black dress to all the football games, but I have no idea what a mom should wear. If anyone could help me with my wardrobe, I'd really appreciate it! i would imagine, depending on the weather, a cute pair of slacks or a casual skirt with either a red or a black blouse-sort of "smart" casual. if it is going to be chilly, maybe a red or black quilted vest , a knitted poncho(i've seen tons of them in stores lately-yes even here in south florida!) or a wrap(think giant scarf that you drape around your shoulders, throwing one end over one shoulder). a pair of flats or some stylish boots.
