Hi ladies! I've been a Pi Phi since Fall 2007 but I'm just now learning about this website! I am overwhelmed at how connected I feel with every single Pi Phi here! Pi Phi is really a sisterhood to be proud of!

Anyway, several girls in my house and I are starting a new family in our chapter. I don't know if y'all do families in your chapters, but we have cute ones like the royal family and the glamorous family. I've been trying to think of a cute/unique name for us since we're all free-spirited but I'mtotally drawing a blank. Any ideas?

we named our families, although not all families had a name, and some changed a couple of times. The ones that immediately come to mind were the "Rockstar" "Fallen angel" "Black sheep" and "Nightlife" families.

Also, just a note, "First Finest Forever" is basically ADPi's motto... I wouldn't have it in your sig if you're not an ADPi.

We have a very strong family system at our chapter. We even have family competitions within our chapter. We have themed names too but we aren't allowed to say them outside the house except for the acronyms. Also we have family traditions during big and little week and iweek. Its a lot of fun. The only thing I could think of for "free-spirited" would be Mavericks. I don't know if you guys have themes or anything but they can be quite fun. ♥CPFAMILY♥

Yes, I'm lane swerving, but only to wonder if you really want to go there. The whole which-sorority-was-really-first thing has cropped up occasionally at GC and has been known to devolve into unnecessary argument.

My family is called "The cosmopolitans". I know some other families in our chapter are "the superiors" "the royalties" "the diamonds" "the hott family" and yeah, there are more but I can't remember. Hope it helps! PPL

I know a sorority in in CO that has flowers like the sunflower family etc. At mine we have tiara, scarf, lei, mardi gras (beads), tutus, etc.
