Good first date conversations

I'm in an awkward position. I've been chatting with a chick I met online for about 6 months. We had such good chatting conversations that we exchanged e-mails and phone numbers. We're going to be meeting up for the first time tomorrow, but I feel we've chatted and talked about so much, that I'm trying to figure out what else it is we can talk about that we haven't either chatted about online, on the phone or e-mail. What would you consider good first (kind of) blind date conversations? Have you ever had a date who didn't know how to hold an interesting conversation? How did you handle it?

Well if you have already been talking to her online for a while, you must know something about her. Maybe try something like, "Oh I remember you telling me you were working on a big project for work. How'd that go?" I dunno! Just something that shows you've been paying attention and you're interested in her.

You could talk about the kid you have on the way. That'd be a good ice-breaker, and not at all awkward.

Seriously. That's the first thing I thought of. I wouldn't be so worried about first dates right now as I would getting your isht together for the baby.

Me thinks Xanthus is full of crap.

He could be a pre-teen playing on the Internet, for all we know.

"How does this condom thing work?" would be a good start. Since, you know, that's new to you...

Also, "do you mind if I call you a chick?"

knight_shadow 10-24-2009 02:48 PM

And last, but not least, "how much do babies cost?"

dreamseeker 10-24-2009 03:35 PM

I think that all of you are misguided in the advice you're giving. Clearly the best question to ask would be:
"Are you ovulating?"
Because as long as she's not highly succeptable to getting preggers then none of the other stuff matters. lol.

dreamseeker 10-24-2009 04:12 PM

lol!

indygphib 10-24-2009 04:23 PM

These responses are epic...LMAO!

LucyKKG 10-24-2009 06:42 PM

Hahahahah once again, I'm too nice!

Xanthus 10-25-2009 02:48 AM

I had a nice time. She's really nice and I enjoyed her company. The drive was long but it was well worth it. Lucy, thanks for your response, unfortunately, I read it a little too late.

The rest of you douchebags can eat a dick.
