International student

Hi I am student in a Canadian university and i will be transferring to an American university next year. How are my chances getting into fraternity as an international student?

Nobody can really tell you what your chances of getting a bid are.

Your chances should be equal to those of any American student, assuming that you will be attending the school in question for more than just one semester. I am an international student from Norway, and I am currently the president of my Delta Sigma Phi chapter.

A smart fraternity would give you the same chance at a bid as they would an American student. We love international students if for nothing more than the cultural variation. It can sometimes offer a different point of view on a matter.

I realize English is not your first language, but it would behoove you to brush up on your spelling and grammar skills.
