Paranormal Activity Movie

Ok, there's been a lot of hype about this movie being the scariest movie since Blair Witch (and I didn't see that, so I don't know). I was pretty psyched to see it as I love a good scary movie, but now I'm hearing people say it was totally lame. I know it opened initially to college towns.......has anyone actually seen it? Scary yes? No? Is it worth the time/money to see?

I've heard both ends of the spectrum...really hard to tell.

I saw it, and it scared the *#&$ out of me!!! It's done like a home video, so it seems really real. I seriously had my eyes closed for about 1/3 of the movie. I didn't know how it ended cause I was too scared to look. My bf had to tell me what happened.

He was less scared because he doesn't believe in ghosts, and I do. I started texting my sister partway through the movie cause I was so scared and needed to get my head out of the movie for a bit!

My daughter saw it and was completely undone by it. She was supposed to be house sitting for my sister last weekend but would not stay in the house alone. She said that the first part was sort of slow but once it got going it was really scary. I scare easily so I won't go within a mile of that movie!!!

I swore I wouldn't go, but I did anyway because we were bored. Now I kind of want to see it again because I know what happens. Maybe I'll keep my eyes open this time.

I told my bf I get to pick the next movie. I'm thinking either "Where the Wild Things Are" or "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs." :D
