Heroes/Villains Social

We're having a Heroes and Villains social and I have no idea what to wear. I don't want to buy an expensive costume for a 1 time use, so if you can think of any type of hero or villain that I can just wear normal clothes or mix some clothes together (i.e. all black, all pink, scarf and belt, etc.), that'd be awesome.
Thanks!

Elle Woods?

You could ask a sister to dress up with you - one in black and the other in white- and be Sugar & Spice (Batman Forever). Although I just realized that if you're a freshman, that movie came out when you were like 3. Yikes - I'm old and will now be quiet.

Do you have a date, or like AF said, want to ask a sister to dress up with you? Spy vs Spy?

Your call which is the hero and which is the villain.

Ah, thank you! I had not thought of spies. I had a bunch of friends name heroes and villains, but a lot of them are complex. I don't have a date, but I know there will probably be people in all black, so I could wear all white. Good idea.

And AlphaFrog, thank you! I have no idea what that is actually, but I was probably too young for it at the time. It's okay, you just have awesome memories!

I think Sugar and Spice were Two Face's Girls. Not sure if I am remembering correctly though.

Yes, that's right. And I'm sad that today's college kids missed out on Batman Forever.:( I remember I was 12 when I went to see that movie, because 12 was the cutoff for kid's tickets, and the movie was PG-13, so we were debating what to tell the guy for our age, because we didn't want to pay more, but we didn't want them to not let us in because we weren't 13.

Oh well, I guess that's what Netflix is for - it's defiantly worth putting on your list.

Quailman? Buy some tighty whities and put a Q on a green shirt.

I saw it when I was like 9 or 10. As a kid I loved it. Saw it a couple of years ago and was "This movie is crap."

Dr. Horrible? Captain Hammer? All you'd need is lab coat and goggles for Dr.H., or cargo pants and a shirt with a hammer on it, which you could draw, for Cap'n Hammer. And gloves and boots for either. (and if you haven't watched it, go to Hulu and watch "Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog")

Or is that too nerdy?

Disney anyone?

Could you go as a Disney princess for heroes (because, techincally-to many of us girls....those princesses were our heroes) and have someone go as a villian? Maybe someone could go as Ariel and the other could go as Ursula? You could have someone do Sleeping Beauty and have another go as the evil queen. I love Disney so I am going to be partial to someone doing something Disney related!

Good Luck with it!

:) thanks! I decided to just be ASA girl, because I like to think ASA girls are heroes lol

I thought of this thread when I saw an ad for one of the major network's (ABC/TBS/something like that) Halloween lineup - Batman Forever is in it.
