Happy Founders' Day to two wonderful organizations! I hope you all have the opportunity to share the occasion with close sisters and brothers!

And especially, HAPPY FOUNDERS' DAY to my brothers in the Bond. May you be a beacon of friendship, character, justice, and education for all to see. I'll be thinking of you all today!


ALSO: A fun fact, a little known Delta Chi/Kappa connection: One of the earliest symbols of Delta Chi was a key (seen here) found on our Emblem. Few outside of the Fraternity are familiar with the symbol which is worn by members of The Order of the White Carnation. Today we have the KEY Program (Keep Educating Yourself) for continuing post-initiation membership education.

ETA: Oh wow, it's so cool that we share a symbol and a founding date! PS. Is that road trip I heard about still in the works? I've heard the possibility but nothing more.

Happy Founders' Day, guys! I have a really good friend who started a Delta Chi colony, and I was tickled when I found out we had the same founders' day.

YES - Roadtrip! My little is planning it and we're trying to find a weekend that is good for everyone, hopefully this semester! And I feel no remorse in hijacking my own thread so - how is chartering going? Have you sent in the petition yet? What semester do you expect to charter?

Awesome! Our chartering is... going to say the least. We had a meeting over the summer and took stock of what's left on our list and our Chartering Chair has his work cut out for him still. We haven't sent out petition in but we are looking to charter by the end of the spring semester. Unfortunately I'm not as in the loop as I could be because I had to leave school for the time being. But as soon as you figure out a weekend let me know and I'll do my best to make it out for a weekend of fun!
