Junior Cotillion?

Hello. I am curious to find out more about the process of becoming a Junior Cotillion director. I filled out the online application and am waiting to hear back. I live in a New England state and the closest chapter to me is in NY-a goood 5 hour drive. Cotillion is badly needed up here and, I believe, could do well once it gets going. What does the group look for in potential directors? Is there a cost involved? Please help. Thanks!

Why are you posting multiple threads about this sort of things on a fraternity and sorority message board? Surely there are better, more appropriate resources out there for you.

Yes there are greeks that participated in these sorts of activities, but this is just random.

I was just wondering the same thing.

To the OP, you may be better off directing these questions toward people in the organization. There may be GCers who could help, but I would try to be in touch with the Junior Cotillion and find out what the process involves. Since you've already filled out an application, I'm sure they will provide you with more info.

Actually it is not random at all. I did a google search on debutantes /cotillions/Junior League and found my way to this website. Now, do you have anything to actually add to the conversation?:)

oh snap.

How about you find a message board that is actually for debutants/cotillions/etc instead of making multiple thread about it here, during the same day!

Now that you've added this shitty response, good luck getting the information you seek on GreekChat.

Can't you see why I was initially annoyed?

No, we can't.

If you posted once that's fine, but you keep putting THE SAME THING in multiple threads. Most GC readers hit the "view new posts" button rather than going forum by forum, so if you put it one place, people will see it.

Few things are more annoying than a brand new poster who does the equivalent of posting RESPOND TO ME NOW!! NOW NOW NOW!! It's behavior akin to a 5 year old's.

No, and even if you were annoyed, being rude in response is certainly not debutante behavior, now is it. ;)
