Platonic Friendships
 

Does anyone here have a platonic friendship? One where you can talk, laugh and hang out, with no sexual tension? If so, please explain how this works, so I can live vicariously through you. :)

My 2 best friends
 

I have 2 male friends and our relationship is strickly platonic. I've known them both 21 years. We met in HS. They are both married now. I get along great with their wives, they got along great with my husband. We have a good relationship. Never any sexual tension, I've been knowing them too long. I don't think I can find a man now to be just friends with.

i have a circle of 5 friends, 3 of which are males (heterosexual). i've been friends w/2 of them for almost 20 years. the other about 15 years.

we've slept in the same bed together, on more than one occasion and absolutely nothing except long conversations into the night has happened. they've been in my house after school and my mother wouldn't trip, because she knew there wasn't anything happening between us.

none of them are married, but throughout the years, i've met almost all of their girlfriends and never had any problems w/them either. i'm an only child and those 3 guys are my brothers. i believe God sent them into my life to give me an up, close and personal education about men, for which i thank Him, to this day.

Dang, slept in the same bed and nothing happened. :eek: :D

After reading these two posts, I've come to the conclusion that it must be too late in life for me to form a platonic friendships. Oh well.
