What do you think?

My Sands is getting married in a very small private island ceremony in SC (20 people invited). The bride and groom ask that nobody purchase wedding gifts, as our attendance is gift enough. My female friend (who’s accompanying me) thinks it would be a nice gesture to donate a small amount to their favorite charity in the bride and grooms name…I say don’t be hardheaded women follow directions :). Aiight…. what do the bruh’s think?

Phi, I don't think anything would be wrong with giving a small gift even though they didn't ask for it. I would have to agree with your lady friend, Nupe.

Nothing wrong with listening to your lady friend, you just have to know when to listen to her.:)

Why did I know you were gonna agree with her...lol! Nah it's all good Nupe...I still think my founders cane was a good idea :o:rolleyes:!

*Side eye & eye roll @ the above part* :D:rolleyes:

I have to say that it would be a nice gesture to donate money to a charity in their name and send them a card or something in the mail notifying them of what you did to commemorate their special day. That way you get to give them something special (that keeps on giving) and you can also follow directions by not bringing a gift to the wedding!

LOL!

Bruh, I would definitely follow instructions and not bring anything, but as IASK said, I would send a card after the honeymoon letting them know what you did.

Sidebar: You must at least give thought to what your lady friend says, if not it creates problems later on...lol:D Just oblige her and K.I.M.

Preciate the advice...and something tells me she already did it...lol.
