I can't help being biased in reading the section on Sigma. I LOVED reading how the author was able to befriend one of our Honorable Founders. How I wished I could have been in that position! I feel a need to contact our author soror so she could share some stories. :)

As a non Greek I THOROUGHLY enjoyed reading this article. It only reinforced what I already knew about D9 organizations as well as shedding light on many things I did not know. I think this article is a good read in light of recent events in America because it's a good reflection on the original intents and purposes of the founders. If ever there was a doubt in my mind about pledging at all after reading this it is no more. I've wanted to pledge since 2009, but at the time lacked the maturity to do so. I was worried about being too old to pledge at 27, but after reading this article, I believe now is as good a time as any because I've improved as a person, gotten wiser and more mature. I hope I'm able to pledge this fall because I am willing to contribute to the longevity of such a legacy as what D9 organizations were built upon.
