DCC: Making the Team 2009
 

I thought this deserved its own thread as the 2007 is super many pages long :D

Just heard via CMT that the new season starts October 10th!!!!!!!!

OMG I'm so excited!! How lame am I? LOL

CMT has a making the team from 2005 on right now, but I don't recall CMT "starting" the "making the team" until 2006 (or was it 2007).

I wonder why so late? The season will be half over by then.

Yayy! I was just saying to my boyfriend yesterday (while watching the Cowboys game) that I was disappointed there wasn't a season of DCC '09. I'm glad they're bringing it back - and he is, too! That's one of the few shows I can get him to watch with me. :p

it's kind of strange this show starts so late as we know who's on the squad. plus, those of us who pay (perhaps a little too much) attention, know some of the "drama" behind the scenes prior to the final announcement of the team.
but, i'll be watching on 10/10:D

I hate to admit that I'm super excited. LOL. What can I say, I'm a dork. :D

This show is my official secret guilty pleasure. (Although, I suppose now that I've admitted it on here, it's not that much of a secret anymore.)

So, tonight....will there be drama w/ the pageant twins? I predict one of them is going down.

I'm kind of disappointed with the show so far... I feel like it just hasn't been as interesting as past season. The pageant twins were eliminated and all that was said was that they wouldn't be joining the squad this year. Meh.

Kelly said a little more than that...she was pretty mad because they left due to a conflict with their respective pageant title holder duties and she said they should just have waited to try out in the first place because they wasted spots. Kami gets to come back because they left on their own and Kelly said she would've been at training camp if it weren't for them.

I don't blame Kelly for being upset. At the interviews both girls swore up and down how important DCC would be for them and that they would figure out a way to work around their title duties. That is just what was said in what was shown, who knows what else they "promised" about the titles.

I don't blame her either. They probably weren't in a position to promise anything since they likely signed contracts with their pageant programs which put that first.
