After Bid Day

So, I went through recruitment and didn't get a bid. The girls I met during recruitment, however, all made it into the same sorority. I got a message from one of the girls telling me that they were putting my name down on a list of girls who didn't get a bid but who should have. What does putting my name on the list mean for me?

Just a guess:

This could mean that they are putting you on a list to be POTENTIALLY invited to a future informal/COB event.

I wouldn't take this to mean that you are magically going to end up with a bid from them, but they may end up asking you to come to COB at a later date IF there are spots available.

It's likely not a guarantee of a bid or anything like that.

COB = informal recruitment.
