Graduation Songs

After looking at an article on AIM Zones about the top graduation songs, it reminded me of a song I LOVED. I can't, for the life of me, remember the name of the song. I want to find it.

This thread is for people who want to talk about their favorite graduation songs, their high school graduating class graduation song or to help me remember the name of this song. It is driving me nuts!

A little information about the song:
I graduated h.s. in 2001 and this song was really big around 2000-2001. It was pretty music with a man talking throughout the song. The man in the song talked about how you should enjoy life and not be upset if things don't go your way. There was a comment in the song about how a certain percentage of you will be married happily while another percentage will be divorced once or twice. It then said something about dancing like noone is watching. The music flowed and then there was a portion where he said something powerful and the music stopped! Then it started back up again. It was like slower music and it sounded like he was giving a speech throughout the song. In fact, I think the song started out, "To (or Dear) Class of 2000. What is this song???? I MUST KNOW!

Was it by Vitamin C? I think it's just called "The Graduation Song"

You're lucky I remember it was on one of the Now CD's, and since I'm home sick this weekend, I happen to have a stack of my old CD cases within arm's reach. I believe the song you're looking for is called "Everybody's Free (to Wear Sunscreen)" by Baz Luhrmann. :)

ETA: It was the class of '99! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sTJ7AzBIJoI

My graduation song was "At the Beginning" from the Anastasia soundtrack. But a song that was also huge at the time was "Here's to the Night" by Eve 6. We played this one a lot that year. WHO'S IT GONNA BE? '03 '03!!! :D

I LOVE "At the Beginning," but for totally different reasons. It gets me choked up to this day. :)

My class song in 1999 was "Remember Me This Way" by Jordan something. It was from the Casper soundtrack. Thank GOD it wasn't Prince, although that was our Prom theme.

Oooooh Jordan Hill! I love that song. I remember it was the class song of some class that graduated way before I did (like class of '97 or something).
