My school only has 2 Panhellenic chapters (and none of the locals are associate members). The only cuts occur before Pref. Before that, everyone has to go to both chapters. On pref, it could be 1, 2, or none. It's Wed-Fri with Bid Day on Saturday.

ETA: This is UC Santa Cruz.

Yeah, that except at the school I advise at, it is Thursday-Saturday with Bid Day on Sunday :)

4 and 4 (first day splits chapters into two days)-6-4-2
except we have a colony this year and I think the PNMs have a presentation or something for that so it might be 9-6-4-2 except you couldn't go back to Tri-delt. I don't exactly have that information yet.

Our school seems to change every year, but I'm going thru rush right now and it's 8-6-4-2.

ETA: I think the schedule and/or events change every year, not the number of sororities that you are able to go to.

University of Akron (semi-formal recruitment)
First three days, the PNMs must see all five houses in the three days allotted (they can go to all five one day, 2 one day, 3 another, etc... it's up to them)
Then Philanthropy is 4-it used to be 3, this is new this year.
Pref is 2.

Eastern Kentucky University

Eight chapters on campus.

8-6-4-2 and then Bid Day

Tropical_Dancer 09-11-2009 11:31 AM

at Miami its 7-5-3-2, excpet since we just switched to deferred recruitment, this year will be a little different because its comprised on 2 weekends with a week in between. I'm really not sure how that is going to work yet.

Our recruitment is going to be a little crazy this year. With four chapters, we always did 4-4-3-2. They voted after recruitment this year to eliminate one of the days with a "frills" party, to do 4-3-2. But then we lost a chapter, so I think this time it's going to have to be 3-3-2. It usually takes place over 1 week with Bid Day the day after Pref, but it looks like it will be shorter now.

I believe at Iowa State it's 13-->9-->6-->3-->Bid Day. I know they increased the number of chapters women can attend for Pref Night from 2 to 3 last year.

University of Kansas

There are 13 NPC orgs on campus.

Open House rounds take two days. This year, we visited 3 the first night and 10 the next day.

After that, it goes 8-5-3.

Smile_Awhile 09-11-2009 01:45 PM

We do 3-3-2.

perfectinpurple 09-11-2009 02:22 PM

Ok, so there are 19 sororities at University of Illinois!!

This year we had 2 days of open house (9 the first day and 10 the second). So....

19, 13, 7, 3

YIKES.

Back when I was active at KSU, we went 7-7-4-2.

Now I am pretty sure it goes 6-4-3.
