Happy National Women's Friendship Month everyone!
How is everyone celebrating? My chapter is having a personal care products drive for the local battered women's shelter...I just got done decorating the boxes! :D

We are having a pancake breakfast for all the women on campus. Minus PNMs that is... ah silly silence rules.:p

In 1999, Kappa Delta created National Women's Friendship Day for women everywhere to celebrate those special people in our lives. Every third Sunday in September is set aside as a day to remember the women we call friends. Women are encouraged to remember their friends on this day by sending cards, balloons or flowers, planning an outing or making a phone call. Special events are also held on college campuses and in communities nationwide in honor of this day.

I don't know if we did anything last year because my school starts around the fourth week of September. it seems like some people do stuff, but I really don't know.

I think our chapter did something last year...not really sure. I was just initiated in March so this is my first time doing all this!
We're also getting carnations for women on campus to give to their friends.
And yes, the silence rules are silly but important. Except I'm an RA on a freshman floor, so I kind of have no choice but to talk to PNMs...just no Greek stuff! :)
