A WAGER: A STEAK DINNER IS RIDING ON THIS

For reasons that I cannot explain, but somehow I got caught in the middle of a discussion that progressed into a wager. And I got stuck trying to determine the winner.

Flo, Mary and Shirley are friends and in their early 50s. Flo said that when she was a undergraduate, a pledge class at a fraternity at a Big Ten university posed for Playgirl magazine. Mary said she remembered the issue, but swore that the pledges were from a fraternity at a PAC-10 university. Shirley claims no such thing happened and said she would have remembered since she had a subscriptiion to the magazine at the time.

Like I said the discussion progressed into a bet with the winner getting a steak dinner. Since I don't know where to find such an answer I thought that I would start with Greek Chat. Does anyone remember a fraternity pledge appearing in Playgirl magazine approximately 30-35 years ago. If so, does anyone remember which university the pledge class attended.

Thanking everyone in advance

I remember back in college in 1984 or so that there was an edition of Playgirl that featured the men of fraternity row at UCLA but I don't think they were on the cover of the magazine

(I deleted my Google post, since it wasn't the right one.)
