Or you could just do what I (and alot of others) do, just make a habit of not reading them until like 1-2 weeks later (when you are fairly sure that they're done).

Also, there are PNMs who maybe didn't get bids and I doubt that some of them are going to want to post the ending to their story, then come post in a thread letting people know it's done.
