Seeking Advice..Question
 

It all depends on the policies of the organization you are interested in. I am glad that you are planning to be honest about your prior pledging because they probably already know that you did.

Personally...if you DIDN'T tell them, and you ended up pledging/got initiated..I'm sure they'd find out eventually and then they might get mad. I think it's best to be honest right off the bat, and if that costs you a bid - then what can you do? Don't try to hide your past. A favorite quote of mine, "if you always tell the truth, you never have to remember anything".

Just my two cents.

ETA: Take what I said with a grain of salt. I never pledged any type of sorority you're talking about - only a co-ed Fraternity. It's more of "moral" advice.
