I'm a transfer to wisconsin-madison, and I am going through rush next week. Is there any one who has been through wisconsin rush that could give me advice? I would really appreciate it. Even if you don't go to wisco, any general advice would be great too!

Just keep an open mind- sophomores often do very well if they make sure to do this. All 12 houses on campus are great and as a transfer you (hopefully) won't hear too much tent talk.

Also be discreet, both on Greek Chat and at any house parties you may attend prior to/during recruitment. I'd honestly advise avoiding them until recruitment has finished, because there are sorority women and sorority women's boyfriends/friends everywhere, and if you make one of them mad it can cause major issues for you.

Make sure to let us know how you did! My little sister is also going through formal next week, so I am excited to hear the news.

Recruitment is fully underway here- we've had gorgeous weather!

Second rounds finished yesterday and Pref is coming up Friday night.

That promo video is great! Although, I started watching another youtube video called "Rushed"...grr, made me pretty upset.

I swear though, that panhel video had girls that reminded me of my sisters in it! Greek love!

What was quota? There seems to be such a huge gap in numbers.

It was 39, I believe.

How can chapters go so far over the quota?

How did it go?? I hear there were quite a few people missing recruitment with the flu. Hope you're healthy and found a good fit in Madison!

Quota was 40

Those numbers are close, but some are a little off (although drops may have occurred by now).
Quota = 40
Gamma Phi Beta got 41
Kappa Alpha Theta took 52
Delta Delta Delta took 48
and I'm fairly sure Kappa Kappa Gamma took quota of 40
most groups listed there below quota likely snap-bid to quota
Chapter total is 126, and many groups are now well above that. We'll see who all will even participate in Spring Recruitment. Hopefully retention will be good enough that it will not be necessary.
