Spring Rush
 

:rolleyes: Does anyone know anything about the spring rush process and if its better to rush is spring than fall? I'm noy sure if I want to try and rush again, but I've been told to do it in the spring if I ever did it again. Thanks!:rolleyes:

it all depends. Does your school do Fall or Spring formal rush? If they do formal rush in the fall then most likely the spring rush is COB which is open biding which isnt really rush at all. I'm not too much help on this subject but Im sure you will get many better responses.

Formal Rush was in the fall, but it was so confusing! lol! Some really cool Delta Gam's told me spring is more laid back.

Formal Rush, COB and Informal Rush
 

On some campuses there are both COB and Informal Recruitment after Formal Recruitment. If your campus has fall formal, then chapters that do not make quota or are not at total are able to COB members until they attain quota or are at total.

On some campuses where recruitment registration has decreased or there are more than a couple of chapters COB'ing, Panhellenic may help those chapters organize a spring informal recruitment. How active Panhellenic is in this situation depends upon the school, but it generally helps the chapters take more substantially sized new member classes then they can recruit through COB alone. You can contact your Panhellenic office to see if there is Spring Recruitment at your school. Be aware that on some campuses only chapters that have total and quota opportunities are allowed to COB, so if you want to see all of the chapter you have to wait until fall to go through again.
