What Chapters would you like to see Phi Mu colonize at?

Being from NC//East Coast I think:

NC State University

Duke University *Recolonization*

Vanderbilt University

Kansas City 08-07-2009 10:47 PM

We need some Big 12 (north) representation. Specifically KU and K-State come to mind. : )

PhiMuForever 08-07-2009 11:35 PM

Yeah some more North Representation would be nice!!!

Anywhere out west and in the north, specifically California (it must get lonely in Fresno) and New York.

I'll add a big So. Cal location, University of CO and Kansas DII (Pittsburgh State or Emporia State) to my wish list. I'd love to see chapters at the schools ny neices will likely be attending even if they aren't considered legacies.

I guess we just missed out on K-State last spring so that probably isn't too likely again anytime soon.

I want to see us back at Syracuse (Beta Zeta chapter). Pitt, any Ivy League, or any school in a major conference. I would love to see us at more Big Ten universities.

Phi Mu at U of SC

I understand that the University of SC has a phi mu chapter coming this year! My daugher, a junior at USC, has interest joining a sorority. I'd love to hear how other greeks feel about rushing for a new chapter. Another question -- is Phi Mu a sorority that "prefers" southern girls if from a southern university? Any idea how she may find a phi mu alum from PA?
Thanks.

I'm a Phi Mu Alum from Pennsylvania. I am from the Beta Mu chapter at Penn State University.

That's exciting! Did you enjoy your years as a phi mu? My daughter loves Penn State -- as a matter of fact, she once considered a transfer, but she's too far into her major. Can any Phi Mu complete a reference form OR should it be someone that she knows? We've searched high and low, and cannot find any Phi Mu alumnae that we know.

I woullld looooooove to see Phi Mu colonize at MIDDLE TENNESSEE STATE UNIVERSITY in Murfreesboro, TN. It is the biggest Undergrad college in TN. It has even more students than UT Knoxville, which is pretty big.

Also, the more in the North the better. I know that we just colonized in Chicago but we could def. use some more sisters in the Northern states. :)

I did not realize Middle TN St was so big.

Now that we are recolonizing Delta, I would have to see us returning to Duke, SMU, UVA, Syracuse (or one of the NY chapters) and CA.

This is going to be a great year - 5 chapters!

Libelle, if I'm not mistaken, Sophie Newcomb is your chapter of initiation. I'd like to say how happy I am that your chapter will be active again! GO DELTA!

Do you realize that with USC this year and Kentucky in the fall of 2010, Phi Mu only needs to open a chapter at Vanderbilt and Arkansas and we will be at every school in the entire SEC!
