Um, ... sorors!! I am really annoyed right now. I know I've been a little incognito on the board for a while, and I certainly hate to come back under these circumstances. But I am really irritated with a certain someone who befriended me on Facebook (FB) recently.

I didn't mind adding her because she seemed pretty nice. On her FB page, I noticed that she has a picture of the shield of Delta Sigma Theta among her photos, and tagged with the description " ... Deltas in the house!". If you saw something like that, wouldn't you assume she was a Delta, too? I certainly thought so.

When I clicked on her Twitter page, however, lo and behold, she has a beautiful AKA background!! There it was, ... out there for all to see! :eek: It's everything I can do to bust her, but I don't like to be the person who causes drama. I started to send her a private email demanding an explanation, but why would she deserve that kind of respect when she has disrespected MY sorority?!?! :mad:

Not to mention that she disrespected Delta as well.

Say something to her. Clearly she doesn't know any better (or at least is confused). There is a tactful way to approach her.

The perp madness is getting out of control! You don't know anymore! And with all these folks "pillow-talking" and ish, it is no wonder things are out of control! I say just delete her from your friends list completely. She isn't worth your energy or time......Just my .08 cents soror!

Well, thanks for your advice, ladies. I got some suggestions from other sorors through PMs, and I decided I would have her verify herself. I sent her a polite email requesting that she let me know where and when she "pledged". Of course, there was no reply.

Since the email, however, she has removed the AKA background on her Twitter page for a more generic one. I think she got the hint.

Wow that is funny. So Soror LikeASista I took the liberty of asking our lil peerp to verify here self she replyed with Psi Omega Chapter, 2003 (no fall, summer or spring) BUT didn't graduate from college until 2004... suspect in deed!!

She said the same thing to me. I know I'm not crazy, but Boston University has an Epsilon chapter, and any Pi Omega chapter would be ... well, you already know. ;)

I am not a member of any sorority, but I found this post interesting. I followed the link and the person has since deleted her twitter page lol. This IS disrespectful to both sororities even if she MAY be a member of either one.

I just don't get it, why even bothered perping when more than likely you will be caught. SMH, this is becoming a "SERIOUS MATTER".
