Sounds to me like you might be best off contacting your chapter consultant. It sounds like the chapter may be having some troubles that extend beyond your need to plan I-Week.

Just a thought: Since you've identified your chapter elsewhere, you might want to be a little more discreet in what you say about your chapter, sisters or cliques.

Oh my. See below... (emphasis mine)

  • well-intentioned/good advice posts. these posts answer the OPs question.
5. What follows?
--Newbie digs deeper hole by:
a. adding more details to OP

--if GCers deem OP worthy of egging on this trainwreck, they will:
a. quote for posterity (QFP)
b. back each other up (this is a must. there will be an occasional regular who will stray from the pack. this is OK, because we've all got opinions and GC is here to feed the need of sharing them whenever and as often as we like. some of these GCers will, in response to "poor Newbie" card, will back Newbie up via PM with words of encouragement and such. this is supposed to help, but really just amps the OP up even more because someone is telling them their crazy is OK.)

As usual, MysticCat is right. I'm going to skip the first option (QFPing... well, technically it would be QingFP) and go straight to backing up both Kansas City and MysticCat.

rer5073, I hope your sisters aren't reading. 'Cause it'll be pretty obvious to them who's airing their dirty laundry.

I love my sisters and I would never intentionally talk bad about them. Everything I posted i have already said to their faces- I love my chapter and we are very open with eachother. However, i should not have phrased things the way i did. I didn't think about what i was saying or how it would appear to others- which was ridiculously stupid of me considering i posted this on the internet where the entire world can read it. I am so embarrassed and horrified at the impression this must have made on everyone who read it. lesson learned. sorry guys! and thank you for pointing it out to me.

You didn't know. Don't worry about it and please realize many of the people here on GC are here to give other Greeks encouragement. I know that none of the above posters were being mean and had some good advice for you. I hope this doesn't deter you from wanting to stay on GC because the above posters, as well as, many of the people here are incredible sources of advice and all around great people. Good Luck with I-Week and know that you can always PM me (or any other Phi Mu, for that matter) if you need specific advice on Phi Mu or your chapter.
