Theta Cheers/Chants for Recruitment
 

I think that different chapters or schools call them different things, but I'm in charge of spirit for recruitment at my school this fall, and I was wondering if anyone knows some fun cheers? We sing/scream them as the Potential New Members enter and exit the Theta suite during the first three rounds of our fully structured recruitment. I'd appreciate you sharing yours, thanks!

For example, some of our chapter's favorites are:

If you're showing your age, I'm not sure what I'm showing. I Love that song, and I'm only 19!

I meant age with knowing/having been taught "You're a Grand Ole Flag." :) I instantly knew that tune when I first heard that chant when I went through recruitment.

I was taught "You're a Grand Ole Flag" in elementary school, and I'm only 23 (24 in Oct)

Anyway, we didn't cheer during recruitment. Our school's Panhellenic Council thinks it's creepy. They call it "bursting" haha. But my favorite Bid Day cheer is:

We are the Thetas! We'll always welcome you!
Love it?! You BET we do!
We're tellin' you.
And in our memories, dear to our hearts you'll be!
Kappa Alpha Theta! Friendships so true!

This one was taught to us by one of our advisors from Alpha Sigma chapter (Washington State University).

I'm glad you posted about this... I'm an alum from Epsilon Lamba/Dickinson (central PA Thetas!!!) and I came on here to look for some new recruitment cheers. I was VPM of my chapter 2 years ago and I'm trying to help out the current VPM.

We do the witch doctor song at Dickinson, too.
