Consultant Application Advice

Hey ya'll, I was wondering if anyone could help me out with any advice on an application to be a traveling consultant. Anything and everything would be appreciated!

Same advice I'd give to any job seeker: do your research, then polish your resume so that you really stand out in a crowd of highly qualified candidates. Talk to someone who has been a traveling consultant and find out what the job really entails. Excellent communications, problem solving, time management and organizational skills would all be very important. Then maybe take some extra training in public speaking, customer service and salesmanship or other skills that might help you to stand out!

Highlight the leadership roles you've had in your chapter. If you take a look at the most recent crop of CLCs in the new issue of the Crescent, all of them were chapter presidents with the exception of one.
