Searching for fannypacks

Hi! I've been trying to come across sorority fanny packs, I saw some from another Tridelta chapter long time ago, but was never fully able to figure out were they got them. Does any one have any leads I could follow into getting some? thank you!

do people still wear fanny packs?

I remember when I was in school just a few years ago one of the advisors ordered fanny packs w/ our letters and a lion. It was a nice gesture, but no one ever used them. Even then I didn't think people still actually use them

haha no fanny packs are not extremely in....at all in fact, but a few of us thought they were so funny and would just fun to get some. But since fanny packs are not in, it has been rather hard to find some with greek letters on them

try a tshirt company or graphics company. i'm sure any logo shop that does fanny packs could put your letters on them. Or a local embroidery shop could probably do it if you could find a place to buy the fanny packs blank and bring them in. I know walmart carries blank fanny packs in the accessories department. I was looking for a travel sling this spring to take on a school field trip to Disney and all I could find at walmart were fanny packs. In fact, I was surprised walmart even sold them. I think I also saw them at Target in the travel/luggage section.

No. This is not ironic or funny or satirical or retro or any of those things. It is just plain wrong.

Do not purchase fanny packs. Especially with your letters on them.

Fannypacks aren't in style but they are convenient for a number of things. Hopefully they won't cost that much.

:)

Also, if you say "Fanny Pack" out loud to anyone from England, Australia or South Africa, they will laugh hysterically as "fanny" in those countries refers to a woman's vajayjay. True Story.

haha thank you! I will try Wallmart thats a good idea, and Ill keep in mind England/Australia word meaning incase I run into someone from there haha. We just wanted to get them for like our next date dash if was themed and the fanny packs wouldn't actually be worn as serious item :)

They had them at Round Up at UT this past year.

Here's a picture:

Not sure where they got them. Obviously, they aren't worn as a serious item - neither are the NEON shirts, hats, crokies, sunglasses, etc. It's a huge recruiting event and they wear and give out ridiculous stuff with their letters on them.

woops - link just took you to the website - go to Roundup - KA - Friday night, and it's picture 11. You can clearly see the fanny packs

from what i've seen, all this late 80's/early 90's neon stuff has cycled back around to being in style again
my cousin had her toenails pained neon tie-dyed last week.

Try a place that does trade show giveaways (here's just one; I have no experience with any of them). If you want them as a throwaway item, you can probably get a bunch inexpensively.

I own neon nail polishes. :) I rarely wear them anymore because everyone hates them and won't shut up about it. :) But, I like them.

My sister told me today that if you wore neon the first time it was in style, you're too old to wear it now...lol

I think you should get blank fanny packs and PUFFY PAINT them! Maybe some rhinestones, too. If you're going to go the fanny route, I say go all out.
