Try some little wooden, foam or chipboard cut-outs from Michael's, Joann's, etc. Most craft stores should have a variety of cut-out shapes that you can easily paint and apply a little self-adhesive name tag pin on the back.
Examples: (wooden shapes) http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.j...PRODID=prd1665 (foam shapes) http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.j...RODID=prd33930 (name tag backing) http://www.joann.com/joann/catalog.j...PRODID=prd2067 These are not the self-adhesive kind. Save yourself some trouble and get the adhesive-backed ones |
Also, if you check out ADPi chapter websites, chapters probably have some pics from recruitment and you can see what they used for nametags.

If you want ADPi themed a diamond shape (like your badge <>) could be easy to make, or a diamond (precious stone) is also easy to cut out and one would just draw the facets on it. Or maybe a lion.

My friend's ADPi chapter did McDonald's themed nametags for Philanthropy day. There was a red square with the sister's name on each and golden arches above the square. |

For several years now, we've done a few nights of nametags associated with the sorority (like night 1, for you, might be a lion, and pref night might be a diamond <since it's really classy, like pref>) and then the middle nights were name tags associated with our theme for the night -- we did a TV-through-the-decade skit, and our name tags that night were TVs and popcorn. And once we did a Vegas theme night, and our name tags were playing cards. So you might think if you have a theme for some of the nights, and see if you can relate your name tags to that.
