RUSH WEEK EVENTS
 

what's up fellow knights.

I was wondering what some the other chapters do during rush week.
Our chapter needs help with rush week events ideas.
Can anyone help?

Is this your formal Rush week?
Are the rushees brought to your house in groups, at a certain time, and you have a certain amount of time to talk to them?

Rules? Girls allowed? Etc.

Need this info before suggesting anything.

Yes our formal rush week.

During rush week, PNM's go to whatever house they are interested in. so we want our events to seems interesting as well to pull a lot of traffic of pnm's. It's usually m-f from 6pm to 9pm.
Sorority rush is the same week so they will be too busy to come to IFC rush. But yeah girls are allowed.
No alcohol or anything that will get us busted by IFC, they have reps that can come into any house at anytime during rush week. It sucks.

And we cant give out bids til wednesday of that week.

I'd have girls there (independents?) to look pretty, maybe serve drinks (soft drinks, bottled water).

If you have someone with the skills, I'd make a rush video to show the groups.

Large poster boards showing your accomplishments, or keep out your banners and trophies.

Have successful Alumni come and talk about the fraternity, what it meant to them, what they do now, etc.
