Alum Chums
 

We heard of the idea of having "Alum Chums" as a way to help alumnae feel involved and connect with our chapter. We are interested in starting it because we want to have more alumnae involved and haven't had a great response to events for them in the past. The only problem is we are not really sure how to include this into our chapter and what to do with it.

Should it be for Phis only? We want to have them as pen pals, but do you have ideas of what else we could do (is there other things you do if you have a program like this established?)?

I would appreciate it if you have any suggestions to get alumnae involved! As a chapter we are enthusiastic for our lofty plans for the future and we may be needing some assistance. That is why we want to get alumnae involved now.

Ladybug...Have you introduced yourself in the Phi Mu forum? What school do you attend? While at Penn State, we had some Alum Chums. It was a great idea and some of the graduating seniors got Penn State or Phi Mu (I forget-it was a few years back) sweatshirt blankets for at the Stadium. If you want any information on how to get it started-pm me. I'm excited to meet another sister!
