Oh my gosh....this is awful news. I'm so sorry for his family, as well as that of the female found with him.

This is worst week to be a celebrity

Jill1228 07-04-2009 08:57 PM

I am floored. It is a horrible week for celebrities. I read this and said, "Holy shit!"
DH was like, "ok, who died now?"

texas*princess 07-04-2009 08:57 PM

Wow that is so crazy. Such a needless crime. I hope they find whoever is responsible

DaemonSeid 07-04-2009 10:10 PM

well depending on what you hear, the one responsible may be already dead...McNair himself.

I hope not.

deltadevil 07-04-2009 10:59 PM

Yeh a lot of celebs are being found dead now.

If it was a murder-suicide, the woman was the murderer-suicider. McNair had multiple shots and she had one shot to the head. The gun was found near her. He was on the couch and she was on the floor.

Of course, they will figure out who died first and whether the woman could've shot herself where she was shot.

Exactly.

Nashville cops are saying that SHE may have been the one who was the killer.

She was busted for DUI in the Escalade he bought her just a few days ago. Didn't make headlines, b/c the Nashville cops kept it out of the news loop by not reporting a) the car was in his and her name and b) he was in the passenger seat...

A bar he frequents has said he was approached by a woman a few days ago who accused him of giving her rohypnol. She said her boyfriend was going to kill him. (Rumor... Just Nashville rumor... But, interesting since I know that he did actually go to the bar in question a lot.)

Wow!

I've read people say that she was a "well kept 20 yo mistress" and she should've been happy with being the mistress for 5 months. I'm not blaming him for what may've happened, but one thing is tride and true: Stop complicating your life with drama (affairs, etc.) because you will inevitably lose whatever control of the outcome that you could've had.

What's the story behind the rohypnol? He allegedly put it in her drink?

People in her apartment complex say she would come home late in a limo... The condo is believed to be rented so he could see her. Officially, he owns it with a friend. But, the hinting is that it was used for him to have extra-marital affairs.

Not clear on the story of the rohypnol. This is the only media info on it:

"While details are sketchy at this time, NashvillePost.com sources say that the scene could be double homicide, a murder/suicide, or made to look like a murder/suicide. NashvillePost.com has reported that McNair was approached and threatened at a Nashville restaurant Friday evening, though Aaron would not comment on that or any other theory."

I am sorry to hear that he died...but is it really worth it for a piece of a$$. He paid the ultimate price.
