Personally I'm over these.

Sorry, you asked.

If you're going to do one, just DO IT. I hate it when people beg for attention and ask if we want to hear it.

Well, my point in asking was if nobody was going to care enough to let me know, then I wasn't going to continue.

I've always felt that if sharing your recruitment story was something you wanted to do, you should just do it. No one is going to think "OMG, That PNM2009 is SO ANNOYING! How dare she share her recruitment story!" Sharing experiences is the whole point of this forum. The people who aren't going to want to hear it, aren't going to be coming to this board. The people who DO want to hear it, are going to be coming here, and when they click on your thread, of course that means they're interested in reading.

So when you ask the people, who have already come to this board in search of a recruitment story to read, and have CHOSEN to read your thread, that means they want to hear your story. No need to ask again once they've already opened it. Also, just because people aren't posting a million comments doesn't mean they're not reading!

Ok, then....I'll post more on my story tomorrow

Wow, maybe I am different, but I take these threads lightly. Some people who have posted threads in the past may have been attention seekers, but it does not mean everyone is.

ditto.

But I do want to hear where Barbie ended up... she didn't ask if anyone wanted to hear it.

FWIW I would like to hear the story

KSUViolet06 06-26-2009 02:58 PM

Dramatic much?

No one said you couldn't post your story.

When you ASK people if they'd like to hear it, you get honest answers.

There are quite a few people who just POST and don't ask.

Also, we're not "treating" you in any way by saying we're over retro threads.

ETA: I see you've deleted your whining post.

Just wondering, the thread said it was from recruitment Spring 2009. How is that considered retro?

Technically any recruitment thread that's not live (as in the poster is currently going through recruitment and posting updates everyday) is retro.

Thanks!

I know what you mean. Retro means it is in the past even if by a few months. However, when I see "Retro Recruitment" I hear 80's music and picture really big hair.
