Academic kick off ideas?

Hi, I'm the Academic Achievement Chair for my chapter and I need to create two event for this upcoming semester relating to academics. The end of the semester we are planning a slumber party of sorts to relieve stress from finals. I need something for the beginning of the semester. I cannot think of anything fun to do that would be a sort of academic kick off for the girls to get back into the swing of things. Any ideas???:eek:

Maybe a game show night? There are board game versions of lots of the most popular game shows, or you could do Trivial Pursuit. Make sure to have a prize for the winning scholar, and maybe a dunce cap loser's prize. :)
