Those Big Wooden Letters (for Bid Day Pics, etc.)

Does anyone have any suggestions/links about where to get those huge wooden stand-up letters unpainted?

Thanks in advance, GC'ers!

Thank you! Yeah I think I may try to ask around to some guys... or pay someone at the home depot? lol

I went to Home Depot and they said they don't do that....I got the same response at Lowe's. Ask around to see if anyone you know makes furniture or does wood working, or if they know someone who does.

How hard is it to paint letters with your colors? Talk to some of the boy friends or fraternity guys. Seems pretty simple.

Further proof this is Tom Earp with the usual lack of reading comprehension. She wants someone to make the letters not paint them.

When is a mod going to bother to ban this latest Earp id?!

This company does letters up to 48" high:

Not sure how much it would cost to ship something like that to where you are located, but that company does offer the service.

If you look in the yellow pages for a lumber yard (not a HD or Lowe's, but something locally owned who deals with contractors) you can probably find someone who works there who will do it for you on his/her own time. Most people who work in those types of places have employees who have this type of skill and/or equipment and would be glad to do it for a reasonable price.

The wooden letters used at the chapter houses at University of Arkansas are about 5 or 6 feet tall.
