General Question
 

Hello ladies,

Im entering my 3rd year of college and im interested in greek life. im still in my research phase and i heard of 2 books that i would like to read, they are:

Green McNealey, Ernestine (2006). Pearls of Service: The Legacy of America's First Black Sorority - Alpha Kappa Alpha.

Parker, Marjorie (1999). Past is Prologue: The History of Alpha Kappa Alpha 1908-1999.

There is a problem though, i CAN'T FIND THEM ANYWHERE!!!!. So i was wondering if anyone was willing/able to tell me where i can obtain a copy of these books?!? your help would be greatly appreciate it.

I don't think these kinds of questions are answered here....

i had no idea...thank you :-) i thought that some one could help me find the books thats all

because its my heritage

i googled the books (to make sure u werent bein lazy:) ) and i found nothin sooooo check the library or find out what publishing house the books are under.

Generally, if you can't find something, it is not for you to find. And you all can take the snark to p. m.

I was thinking that all of these posts are by the same person, because why would the whole thread (up to Little32) contain nothing but replies from people with just a few posts? :P

Oh, I'm not concerned--just amused.

And while PirateGreek is busy trying to be snarky, she still can't find the books and we're still in GLOs while she is not.

^ ur feeling about all the posts (up to Little32) being by the same person are wrong...Look at my response...I doubt most would 'backtrack', as pirategreek said, themselves...and to pirategreek no problem for backtrackin u.... :)

Although, as an interest, and even with a sister soror, I did enough research to get a copy in my hand. My sister's face was priceless when I showed her, knowing full well her copy was in her drawer. ;)
