This was Bale's worst outing in a minute.

His acting in this was just....baaaaaaad

There were some cool special effects but the plot was pretty crappy. Oh and what was up with the "frogman stunt"? That was stupid.

The biggest problem with the movie is that they gave most of it away in the trailers...then I heard that they changed the ending and the original ending they had was probably better.

The original ending would have had John Connor die and the Terminator Infiltrator would have taken his face and replaced him.

Ever since Edward Furlong left the Terminator deal, I've been over it. :p

I'm sorry I think that spoiler ending is dumber than the ending then have in the movie!

I originally didn't wanna see this movie, but ended up going just to get out of my house. It was better than I expected it to be, but it was still dumb. One girl was talking about how she was sooo lost/confused cause she hadn't ever watched the original terminators. I haven't seen the terminator movies since I was like 10 and I still understood it.

I saw it on Friday, then on Saturday Encore was showing the first Terminator. That was soo much better than the new Terminator. Although I did like the special effects.

I think its dumb how everyone's talking about Arnold's cameo....ummm hello that isn't really him, its a computer animated Arnold. He didn't even look that good when the first Terminators came out.

I still thought it was funny though. I said, "Hey, that's my governator!"

I just saw it. Hated it.

I saw it on Saturday and I am probably one of the few who actually enjoyed it. Do I think it could have been better? Yes, but overall I thought it was an enjoyable movie. I LOVE Christain Bale. He is just yummy! And the character of Marcus, well that actor was just major yummy too!

For me though, it didn't matter what they did to John, I knew he would survive, considering we found out in 3 that Arnold "killed" him and then Kate and the kids sent Arnold back in time. Well, since Kate was preggers, it was like hmm not gonna die yet. Plus, he doesn't even send dad back to "save" mom until 2025.

I think the problem is that people expected it to be just like the last three movies (i.e. having Arnold in a starring role) but eventually that couldn't happen anymore. Yeah it was nice seeing Arnold's T-800 character, but it wasn't like his "I'll be back". When people are "over expecting" things of course disappointment will abound.

I think it is a good "filler" movie, so that if the decision is made to continue the series, they can move on to when the war is ending (and what the humans do to end the war). We shall see.

Except Arnold's character isn't a T-800....at least not in the first Terminator.

I wasn't expecting much from the movie either, so I do agree with you about it not being like the first 3.
