The fair market rent for a modest two bedroom apartment in NC is $681.00. The housing wage needed to rent a two bedroom apartment is $13.09. What's the average rent in your area?

I know the story line of Rent but it just did not translate to me - - - I just could not follow it - but you may be on point - perhaps i was tired.
