Too old to pledge?

And be accepted? Hello everyone, I'm new to the board, but have gotten great info. Anyways I want to pledge AKA hence my username, but I am afraid that IF I do get to pledge will I be able to participate in activities and organizations such as charities, volunteering, strolling, etc. By the way I am a 23 year old college freshman :(, and want to pledge my sophomore year, is this possible? Thanks in Advance

Quoted For Posterity

See http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...d.php?t=104313 for someone equally clueless who got told. I didn't know either. Basically since posters can edit their original post down to nothing or change it significantly, QFP indicates their post being quoted in another post so that you can always see what it is.

Apparently when checking out the "great info," you ignored this specific direction:
If you are NOT a member DO NOT USE AKA, 08, IVY or anything that is indicative of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in your SCREEN NAME! DO NOT use interested, hopeful, etc. to say you want to be a member!

What are the chances?

What are the chances that like 4/5 (maybe more) NEW users would join on 5/8/09 and all start threads regarding the NPHC orgs???? Someone has nothing better to do with their time.

Hilarious!!!!!!!!!

SWTXBelle 05-08-2009 02:07 PM

Well, in the interest of fairness, given the trainwreck that was happening with NPC recruitment stories, someone HAD to give NPHC equal time!:)

So who is next???

Why not, everyone else seems to be geared for the "attacks from innanely stupid people" so we're all up for grabs apparently.
It was a full moon last night, so apparently the freaks HAVE come out at night and landed on gc!

Well, it is a specific rule of the ladies of AKA, one of whom the OP wants to be.

But hey, I'm always chill.
