University of Maryland

I have an ex boyfriend who was a Beta at the University of Maryland. He was a great guy and I loved his fraternity but I don't think they were considered a great house on campus at that time.

Lately, however, I have heard GREAT things about them and I am so happy for them!

I am curious to learn what they did to make themselves perceived to be better. Did they take conscious steps to get better members, etc. or was it just on great amazing pledge class that turned them around etc.

I would really like to know because I would love to pass these ideas on my friend who is a sorority advisor.

Thanks!

Hey KimmyKimmy.

I dont really know. Sounds like they showed some real Beta Spirit. Why exactly were they perceived as not being great? Their Chapter was actually our founding chapter. Although my chapter(George Mason) closed in 97. I went up there twice when I was an active to visit and had a blast. The house is sweet. I really dont know the greek system at U of Maryland that well. The guys there are very friendly and they know how to have a good time too.
