Reviving Pi Kappa Phi- EZ chapter, UCA
Hey Everybody, I'm trying to revive the Pi Kappa Phi, and I was hoping that maybe you already established in Greek Life have some advice.
I was wandering what is a good way to let people know about you, get the word out. Maybe events just starting out, but we can't officially throw parties under the Fraternity's name. We are still an Interest Group. I need some advice on how I should go about getting 30 guys into the fraternity so that we can be officially recognized. I have 9 really good solid guys, and I need some kind of idea or direction to be pointed in. Thanks for your inputs, any are welcome! |
On my campus, when NIC/IFC chapters came to campus, there was an expansion representative to handled this. Have you checked with PKP to see if there is a national/regional volunteer that handles this?

Yeah, two guys came down, were real cool. But this was after all the pledges have already gotten into another fraternity. Also with the economy down nobody wanted to make that financial decision. But I guess what I'm askin, what are some ideas about signing new guys coming in.....how to sale my fraternity compared to those who have 60 to 100 active members right now...

The reps should still be working with you to get new members.
I guess you could play on the fact that you're the new guys ("you have the chance to shape the fraternity") or that you're more close knit ("smaller means we get to know each other"). Read the fraternity recruitment threads. There are a ton of ideas. |
Alright Thank you much!
Please everybody put your input if you got any! |

Aim for lower numbers, because most of the fraternities there aren't anywhere near that big. |
