University of Miami, Fl - information request
 

I had heard a while back that University of Miami will no longer do sorority recruitment in the fall. It will now be moved to spring semester.

Does anyone have information on this and why the new change down there?

Looks like it will be a quiet first semester now down there.

it actually began this january, 2009.

why? your guess is as good as mine.

I go to Miami and the reason I was told is that the university wanted the freshman to have a semester to get acclimated to the school and get involved on their own, before they consider greek life. At least thats what I was told.
